Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who:

  • Work endlessly to bring positive impacts to their communities
  • Should be celebrated for their passionate community work
  • Have a vision for grassroots change
  • Have a desire to learn and enhance their leadership skills

Emerging Changemaker

This opportunity is only open to women who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander aged between 17 – 24 years. If you are aged 25+ please complete the Community Changemaker Application.

The application process:

Changemakers can either be nominated or choose to self-nominate for the program. This program is only open to women who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, although non- Indigenous peoples are invited to nominate an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander female Changemaker making positive contributions to community.

The application form includes a series of brief questions, please feel free to write as little or as much as you feel.

Once applications close, all applicants and nominations will be reviewed and shortlisted in consultation with our Aboriginal Advisory Council. This list will then be reviewed to determine the Changemaker programs
